Rayan's family

Israeli bomber drops a one-ton bomb on the apartment building housing Nizar Rayan's family killing at least nine people.


Nizar Rayyan (6 March 1959 – 1 January 2009) was a Hamas leader and professor of Islamic law, and was killed on 1 January 2009 with all four of his wives and at least six of his fourteen children when Israel dropped a one-ton bomb on his home. Apart from his family, 30 other people were wounded in the bombing.
