"If you're going to kill yourself with alcohol, the least you can do is make sure you're drinking Champagne."

That was the response Glenn Fitzpatrick supplied me with when asked why he chose to mount his incredibly intricate illustrations (yes, I like alliteration) on a champagne coloured background. This made me love him. Needless to say he is a very interesting man who, I subsequently found out, 'drew' (note the deliberate pun) upon his amazing life story to produce the narrative series, Symbols of Society.
