The World's Most Expensive Car Crash.

When in Monte Carlo, everything is done in style. And that includes crashing your car.

This was the moment when a woman driver caused a £700,000 five-car pile-up as her Bentley collided with a Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin. Disaster struck as the hapless blonde negotiated the traffic around the Place du Casino in her £250,000 Bentley Azure. The driver of a white Mercedes S Class worth £75,000 was the first victim as the 2.7-ton Bentley scraped down the side of it before ploughing into a £143,000 black Ferrari F430.

An Aston Martin Rapide worth £150,000 and an £80,000 Porsche 911 also came a cropper. The driver and her two passengers then suffered the embarrassment of being surrounded by tourists as they were unable to open the doors of the convertible. It is estimated the crash will cost more than £40,000 with the Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin requiring new front wings and bumpers. The Bentley will need the same repairs, plus a new door.

Ruud Poot, editor of European motoring website Autogespot, said: 'You probably couldn't find a worse place in the world to crash your car than outside Monaco's Place du Casino in the middle of the summer.' A staggering £685,000 worth of cars were shunted in a matter of minutes - enough to make the Top Gear boys wince in pain and criticise who caused the incident. But with recent research suggesting women drivers are more likely to be involved in an accident, they could be forgiven for adhering to the stereotypical view.

Fuwahhhh.... =P

The Proton P3-21A Tuah?

Proton Holdings is slated to introduce its first global car by February 2012. It is learnt that the car, codenamed P3-21A, is based on the Proton Tuah concept car displayed at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2010 in December last year.

Looks a little like the VOLVO S60 isnt it? Or perhaps the new Hyundai Sonata?

The 2010 Can-Am Spyder RS Roadster.

Last night, I had a chat with A on bikes. He bragged about his Ducatis and Kawasakis... and then I told him - actually I also like bikes - but one type only. We totally forgot the name of the bike.... hence, I made it a point to google and look up the name of it... its called... the Can-Am Spyder RS. =)

Now known as the Spyder RS, the original three-wheeled creation had been called the GS. But because it was the only “reverse trike” on the road, it simply became known as the “Spyder.” Now you’ll have different models to refer to, and the letters “RT” won’t just refer to the BMW anymore.

Each of the three new RT models are built on the same 100-horsepower (at 7500 rpm) 998cc Rotax engine with electronic throttle control, pumping out 80 ft-lbs of torque at 5200 rpm. In our preview story post, we wondered about the Rotax 990 and 991; we’ve learned it’s the same 998cc engine with tour-minded mapping and compression changes from 10.8:1 to 12.2:1. Since Bombardier owns Rotax, it simply named the engine differently for performance distinctions.

Imagine riding this out to Zouk KL... *wooots* =)

Flooding at St Regis Residences, Singapore.

Torrential rain led to flash floods occurring in the Orchard Road area during the weekend. A few millions of dollars went down the drain after luxury super cars were damaged after being submerged in the basement 3 carpark of St Regis Residences at Tanglin Road. The trail of carnage didn't stop there - Tanglin Mall experienced a 'waterfall' as a ceiling collapsed and goods were destroyed.

The new Bentley Continental GT - The Launch.

If you follow me on Twitter and is my friend on Facebook, you probably seen this picture earlier. =)

Anyways, today, I would like to introduce you to the *new* Bentley Continental GT. Yes, they call it... the 2012 Bentley Continental GT.

This is the *new* Bentley Continental GT. Stunning isnt it?

The view from the front... just as stunning. It still has some of its old looks, but it is very sporty, and very stylish too.

The Bentley Continental GT returns in 2012 with slightly refreshed bodywork, more dynamic handling, improved comfort, more rear-seat legroom and up-to-date electronics. Power has been increased slightly and an updated transmission debuts. A more economical and affordable V8 model will arrive later in the year.

Earlier tonight, I was at Pavilion - the Bentley showroom to witness the unveiling of the new Bentley Continental GT. =)

The VIP invites. *woooots*

In case you didnt know where the showroom is, it is located at the Jalan Raja Chulan entrance, opposite of Jaguar, and right beside Segafredo Cafe.

Bentley Motors Limited is a British manufacturer of automobiles founded on 18 January 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley known as W.O. Bentley or just "W O". Bentley had been previously known for his range of rotary aero-engines in World War I, the most famous being the Bentley BR1 as used in later versions of the Sopwith Camel. After the war W. O. Bentley designed and made production cars that won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1924 and following models which repeated those successes each June 1927, 1928, 1929 and 1930.

In Malaysia, the distributorship, or franchisee is held by the timber giants Samling Group, also known for its award winning township, Desa ParkCity. =)

Meet the hot and tall sexy chics + the car.

Here's another eye candy... *slurps*

Here are more pictures of the car.

A frontal view.

A close up of its signature front.

The back as well - absolutely stunning!

In early 2007, a Bentley Continental GT Speed, driven by four-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen, broke the World Speed Record on Ice - on the frozen Baltic Sea near Oulu, Finland in a Bentley Continental GT. It averaged 321.6 kilometres per hour (199.83 mph) in both directions on the "flying kilometre", reaching a maximum speed of 331 km/h (205.67 mph). The previous record was 296 km/h (183.9 mph), achieved with a Bugatti EB110 Supersport. The record-breaking Bentley was largely standard except for a roll-cage, aerodynamic improvements, and low-temperature fuel and calibration.

The Chevrolet Camaro.

On Sunday at the Supercar Gathering - one beautiful car caught my eye. =)

It is THIS car.

This... is the 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro.

The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro is a pony car produced by General Motors and marketed under the Chevrolet brand. It is the fifth distinct generation of the Camaro to be produced since its original introduction in 1967. Production of the new Camaro began on March 16, 2009 after several years on hiatus since the previous generation's production ended in 2002 and went on sale to the public in April 2009 for the 2010 model year.

On July 22, 2009, GM announced a Transformers Special Edition appearance package for the 2010 Camaro at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. The US$995 appearance package can be applied to LT and SS Camaros with or without the optional RS package and could only be applied to orders made in the Rally Yellow exterior scheme. The package includes an Autobot shield badge on the driver and passenger side panels underneath the Camaro nameplate, Autobot shield on each of the four wheel's center cap, Autobot shield embroidered on interior center console, Transformers logo on driver and passenger doors' sill plates replacing the original "Camaro" labeled plates, high-gloss black center rally stripe package with the Transformers ghost logo embedded. Production of the add-on package ceased on January 12, 2010 and was estimated that around 1500 units were to have been produced straight from Order Workbenches.

The Camaro is available in LS, LT and SS guise. The LS and LT models come with a 3.6-liter V6 - mated to either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission and produce an uprated 312 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. Despite having slightly more power than the V6 versions of the Ford Mustang, the V6-powered Camaros return slightly lower fuel economy with 29 mpg on the highway.

Wahhh... such a beauty isnt it? =)
