Going to Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan is a transcontinental country in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Ranked as the ninth largest country in the world, it is also the world's largest landlocked country; its territory of 2,727,300 square kilometres (1,053,000 sq mi) is greater than Western Europe. Kazakhstan is one of the six independent Turkic states. It is neighbored clockwise from the north by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and also borders on a significant part of the Caspian Sea.

Although Kazakhstan does not share a border with Mongolia, its most easterly point is only 38 kilometres (24 mi) from Mongolia's western tip. The capital was moved in 1997 from Almaty - Kazakhstan's largest city, to Astana. Vast in size, the terrain of Kazakhstan ranges from flatlands, steppes, taigas, rock-canyons, hills, deltas, and snow-capped mountains to deserts. With 16.4 million people - Kazakhstan has the 62nd largest population in the world, though its population density is less than 6 people per square kilometre (15 per sq. mi.).

I had actually been to Kazakhstan before. Here are some random pictures.

This is the Intercontinental Hotel, located in Almaty, Kazakhstan that I stayed in.

Dinner at Tuen Mun, Hong Kong.

Found yet another 'drafted' blog post - which I had already uploaded the pics but havent had time to blog about yet. This one is a few months back, in Hong Kong - and Tuen Mun to be specific. We had dinner there with our friends in Hong Kong. Lets see if I remember everything that we ate...

Meet the Blue Girl. I mean, the beer... not the guy behind, thats Josh. LOL.

Just look at that... just makes the mouth water isnt it?

Another awesome dish - which I have also forgotten the name LOL.

Yummy roast duck!

Not my favourite - but I loved this one... somehow vegetables in Hong Kong always tastes fresher!

Ahh.... yet another of my favourite!

What I liked most about Hong Kong Disneyland!

Some people asked me, what do I like most about Hong Kong Disneyland… I was thinking… and then thinking again… mmm lets see if I could decide what I liked most about Hong Kong Disneyland ya…

A. The merchandise shops

Could it have been the awesome merchandise shops and stalls all over Disneyland?

I agree that this would be the place to get any Mickey Mouse or other Disney characters and toys from… but is this my most favourite???

....meeting Woody?

B. Taking pictures and meeting my favourite Disney characters

I would think that this is something that would make all my friends jealous about. I mean, who wouldn’t want a picture with Woody or Mickey Mouse, isn’t it?

C. A ride on the Space Mountain

Or maybe it was the ride on the Space Mountain? I reckon this would rank amongst my most favourited attractions at Disneyland… If I had a choice, I would go on it over and over again….

D. The Flights of Fantasy parade…

Yup… I waited a good half hour for the parade… and I would admit that it was also amongst one of my most awaited and favourited attractions too!!! I mean, this would be the only chance to see most of the Disney characters one by one, all in one parade!!!

E. The fireworks display

Another favourite… If I could stay right next to Disneyland, I would stand at my balcony and watch the fireworks every single night if I could….

SO… back to the same question… what do I like most about Disneyland Hong Kong?

Is it A, B, C, D … or E?

My answer… arrgghhh tough question…. I guess my answer would be… F… ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!

The Raohe Street Night Market, Taipei.

Today, lets go back to Taipei in Taiwan - and go for the.... night markets!!!

With a well-organized management committee and planned public facilities, the Raohe St. Night Market boasts numerous delicious cuisines and snacks to allure people from all over the place to visit. There is also a mascot for the night market which is an “owl”, meaning lively and attentive at night, just like the lifestyle of vendors.

What are the specialties here? There are like tons of oyster vermicelli, spare ribs stewed in herbal soup, pepper meat buns, duck meat and stinky tofu stalls here.

The Raohe Street Night Market covers various kinds of booths for general merchandises, accessories and yummy snacks, all at low and affordable prices. You can always come here to find some interesting items.

Toys, accessories, fake products and a lot more...

How about FISH?

Tiny little accessories and a whole lot more too...

Oh, lets not forget the doggie shops!!! =)

Ben & Jerry's, Orchard Central, Singapore.

One of the things that I love and enjoy to eat is... ice cream. Unfortunately, there are not many quality and good ice cream parlours in Kuala Lumpur. One thing that Singapore has, that KL doesnt - is this... BEN & JERRY'S!!! =)

Just across the Mandarin Gallery is Orchard Central - and here lies an awesome ice cream shop!

With it comes a cute little salesgirl, who looks kinda sporty too with the cap.

Milkshakes, sundaes... you name it, they have it. =)

Guess what I had... hehehehehe...
