San Shu Gong, Jonker Walk

This will be a quick post; and perhaps one of the last of my Melaka postings. =)

During my recent makan trip to Melaka, the 1st place I stopped by was.... San Shu Gong for some awesome ice cold coffee!!! =)

Upstairs of the San Shu Gong is where I had my coffee - the Lao Qian Cafe.

Ahhh I miss the ice cold coffee liao....

Jonker Walk, Melaka.

One of the things to do when you are in Melaka town is.... to go check out JONKER WALK!!!

When you see this sign, you know you are at Jonker Walk already.

Go check out some random stalls at the street.

Buy some signs like this for your car perhaps?

Ohh... Kenny wants to be the Godfather. =)

Popiah with Pork Lard, Jonker Street.

Another great feature of Melaka's Jonker Street is its awesome streetfood!!! =)

...awesome poh piah or popiah for only RM2!!! =P

Just a random popiah stall - along Jonker Street. But a very awesome one.

The uncle there has apparently served this for many many years already.

There you go... the ingredients for the awesome popiah...

One thing is missing here though, but also in the popiah... PORK LARD!

Pork Satay (Jonker Satay), Kedai Satay Xiang Ji.

One thing that I never knew existed in Melaka is pork satay! =) I used to go to Melaka for their satay celup or chicken rice ball... and then recently, I was introduced to the Jonker Pork Satay at Kedai Satay Xiang Ji!!!

Quite difficult to find - unless you know your ways around Jonker Street in Melaka.

They have two varieties of pork satay here - one being the spare parts... LOL.

...n the other, was the awesome one. =)

Malacca and Traffic Lights!!!

I conclude that.... I do not enjoy driving in Malacca (Melaka) at all!!!!!

Note the highlighted stretch... its the exit at Ayer Keroh heading towards Pusat Bandar.

I think it is called like... Lebuh Ayer Keroh or something..... and you know why I dont enjoy driving here?????

Because there are like 1,967,412 traffic lights here!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay... maybe not THAT many... but it is like... red light... red light... red light every 1km...

Sigh.... maybe they should propose a clear no-traffic-light elevated highway here. LOL.
